This Privacy Policy explains how the Baháʼí Daily Calendar (bahaidailycalendar.com) handles information when you visit the site. It covers the reading preferences stored locally in your browser and the limited, aggregated analytics data collected to improve the site.

Reading and display preferences

We respect your choice of display mode and text size. Your preferences are stored locally in your browser using the following keys:

• bdc-theme — your chosen display mode (light, dark, or high contrast).
• bdc-text-size — your preferred reading size (small, default, large, or largest).
• bdc-prefs-hint — a small flag that remembers whether you have already seen the display-options hint.

These values are never sent to a server, never used for tracking, and are cleared automatically when you delete your browser's site data or local storage.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site and to improve performance and content. The measurement ID is G-MD72K2F05S.

GA4 may collect aggregated, non-identifying information such as:

• Approximate location (city/country level).

We do not use Google Tag Manager. The only third-party analytics script loaded on this site is the GA4 JavaScript tag from googletagmanager.com, which is the standard GA4 loader.

You can opt out of GA4 tracking by using browser extensions such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking analytics scripts in your browser or network settings, or by managing your consent through the cookie banner.

No sale of data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not build advertising profiles or share visitor data with data brokers.
